Kasha moved from Poland to the UK 27 years ago but she has only recently started to experience problems with her accent. After moving to a more insular part of the UK and feeling discriminated against because of the way she speaks, Kasha is motivated to neutralise her accent in order to fit in. With the help of an elocution teacher, she undergoes RP accent training to sound less like a foreigner. The film reveals Kasha's struggle to be fully accepted in the country she now calls home.
