BAFTA-winning ITV documentary featuring gold medal-winning paralympian swimmer, Ellie Simmonds. Ten days after she was born, Ellie was placed for adoption and she has kept that a secret ever since. She often wondered if she was given up for adoption because her birth parents were told she had a disability. In this documentary, she sets out to find her birth mother and to gain a wider understanding about why children with disabilities are more likely to be placed for adoption.
